  EIONET is a collaborative network of the European Environment Agency and its Member Countries, connecting National Focal Points in the EU and accession countries, European Topic Centres, National Reference Centres, and Main Component Elements. These organisations jointly provide the information that is used for making decisions for improving the state of environment in Europe and making EU policies more effective. EIONET is both a network of organisations and an electronic network (e-EIONET).   The Climate Change Knowledge Network brings together expertise, experience and perspectives from more than a dozen organizations from developing, transitional and developed countries. Limited resources, knowledge and capacity in developing countries, and lack of dialogue and understanding between industrialized and developing countries, obstruct progress toward international efforts to address climate change. 4. National Research Programme on Global Air Pollution and Climate Change NRP :
  The NRP interlinks research into the climate system, the consequences of climate change, and research into societal causes and solutions.
